1941

All-Union Agricultural Exhibition. The Stud team were awarded the Silver Medal for their work on the formation of the Tersk breed.

1941-1943

The entire livestock of the Stud were evacuated to Western Kazakhstan, where, despite the difficult conditions of herding, Arabian horses were preserved, and after the stud returned to their native land, the work on the Arabian breed and creating a new Tersk Warmblood breed continued.

1945

Marshal Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov hosted the Victory Parade on the horseback of Tersk bred stallion Kumir of the new Tersk breed. In the same year it was decided that the Tersk Stud would breed only purebred Arabian horses, and the department of Tersk breeding stock was transferred to Stavropol stud No. 168

1947

For the first time, the most prestigious traditional prizes begin to be held “purely” only for arabians. The legendary Priboj from our Stud wins the All-Russian Derby at the Pyatigorsk hippodrome.

In the same year, 9 valuable Arabian mares of Polish origin from Germany were transferred to the Tersk Stud from the Kirow Stud (named after S. M. Kirow)

1949

The new breed created on the stud officially received the name of Tersk, and the Stud was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.
