6 purebred Arabian mares and stallion Kann were imported to the Stud from France, which laid the foundation for an independent breeding of Arabian horses in the Soviet Union.

1930

The beginning of horse racing for “eastern breeds” in this country, where the horses bred in the Stud first took part. The first winner was Despot.

1936

25 Arabian horses were imported from England to the Tersk Stud: 6 stallions and 19 mares, which were also included in breeding program.

1939

All-Union Agricultural Exhibition. The Stud team were awarded the Silver Medal for restoring the Streltsy breed. In the same year, a large group of trophy Arabian horses were brought from Poland, including the famous horses: stallions Ofir and Taki-Pan, mares Gazella II, Dziwa, Mammona, etc.
